Good day for Blue Jays Fans-

-they managed to top the Red Sox last night, and their season ticket holders managed to grab (at the very least) 133 tickets to the Winter Classic/Ice bowl- tickets that- well, how do I put this...? Hockey fans were not allowed to access.

I'm disgusted.

Here's what I don't get. Why didn't they just put the Leafs in the Ice Bowl game? If it was so important to draw fans from Toronto, how about featuring a Toronto team?

It's almost as if the league is being run by a complete nincompoop, but...that couldn't be, could it?

Maybe they wanted US ratings?

Buffalo and Pittsburgh were two of the most popular hockey markets last year.

But if that's the case, why appeal to Toronto fans?

I'm coming around to thinking that it was more important to the NHL to be able to say they sold out in 30 minutes than it was for them to make sure the right fans got to see the game.

I think that you hit the nail right on the head ritch. Why else would the limit ticket sales to "only" 50? Group sales my ass.
